Side & Occasional Chair Reupholstery

Reupholstering a chair is cost effective and can save you money if the piece to be re-covered was originally well-made or the style or size is ideal. This page covers dining room and occasional chairs. A dining room chair has a seat measurement up to 21”. An occasional chair is over 21” wide. The final cost to reupholster will hinge mostly on the fabric selection and any special features your piece may have (channel-back, tufting, buttons, etc).
