Swags and Jabots

Swags and cascades are truly a beautiful way to top off your window treatments. The serene feeling that a swag and cascade combination offers, adds a unique element to any room in your home. A swag is a top treatment used alone or over draperies. Swags are usually draped in soft graceful folds, using fabrics that drape easily. Cascades (also called jabots) are pleated or gathered side panels that descend in a zig-zag pattern from the top of the drapery heading. They can be lined with a contrasting lining or self-lined. Cascades can be placed over or under the swag. Swags can be mounted on either a board or a rod.
